Today I will introduce you to the guitars used by famus blues masters that we are going to look at next week!
With todays technology you can make your pointy super axe sing like Fender Strat. However if this view were more widely held, the guitar manufacturing industry (not to mention blues bluffers industry) would collapse. Endless hours of fun can be held by debating whether the type of dot-marker on the neck of an ES-355 impoves it's tone, or whether a '54 Start would really beat '57 in a straight fight. There are three major contenders for the 'blues axe' crown- the Gibson ES- 355, the Fender Stratocaster, and the Gibson Les Paul. ( I am going to talk more about this guitars next week)
And Just in case...
If someone ask you about other guitar, the best way to get out of letting them know that you are a bluffer is to steer the conversation back to the „Big Three” by saying something like „ Yeah, I know what you mean by the Delectrolux Tri-Tonic Sound-u-Like model, but I cant really compare that to the warm sound that only real 355 can give me.
See you next week!
