Led Zeppelin IV is a combination of pure rock, metal, blues and folk music. Nothing decribes 70's rock n roll better than what you gonna hear from the very first track . "Stairway to heaven" is definitely the most famous song of this album. Rising from beautifully fingerpicked acoustic guitar to electric storming heavy guitar riffs and amazing psychodelic solos. This track encapsulates the entire album what does not mean that we should not pay attention to the rest of it. "Going to California" is Zeppelins best folk song and my favorite of whole album. Black Dog is the definite description of blues/rock style that Led Zeppelin represents. "When the Levee breaks" makes the album even more epic. This song is tasty slice of pure blues and perfectly layered dynamics. Rythms and amazing sound of every instrument that is recorded on this album perfectly illustrates why none of the bands trying to imitate their sound can ever equal them.
